Sedona, Arizona is a pretty place. Lots of red rocks, lots of cool shops, and lots of ‘vortexes.’ It’s filled with a lot of New Agers and was in the news not too long ago for a self help guru who nearly killed some people doing a ‘sweat lodge.’ My feeling around Sedona was one of general well being, but I tend to attribute that to the thin air and not the magic in the air.
During a busy week I only had one free morning and I spent most of it at Slide Rock Park, a popular spot during the summer and a very nice spot in early November as well. Colorful rock and foliage, cool air and a lot more humidity than I am used to in Arizona. I also went to a couple of churches and saw a lot of nice rock formations. The food was pretty good as well.
These are all HDR images, some a little over processed and some a little under processed. I still think of them as fine art photography, as each artist has their own vision to fulfill.
